No. For LAX pickups, your flight is tracked in real time. If your flight arrives late, your driver adjusts accordingly at no additional charge.

For minor delays, your driver tracks your flight in real time and adjusts your pickup at no extra charge. For extended delays of an hour or more, there is a possibility your pickup cannot be held, since another reservation may already be scheduled behind yours. If that happens, you'll hear from us as soon as we know rather than after you land, so you have the maximum amount of time to make other arrangements. For that reason, we recommend keeping a backup transportation option in mind any time you're traveling on a schedule that could shift significantly.

Tipping is appreciated but never required. It is not included in the flat rate quote. If you'd like to tip, the standard range for private car service is typically 15–20% of the fare.

While same-day requests may be possible depending on availability, the earlier you book, the better we're able to accommodate your schedule. All reservations are handled on a first-come, first-served basis. For holiday travel or early morning departures, booking in advance is especially recommended.

Arkwood does not provide child or booster seats at this time. Families are welcome to bring and install their own approved car seat, and we're happy to allow extra time at pickup to get everyone settled comfortably. We also offer complimentary car seat storage — if you bring your car seat on the way to the airport, you can leave it with your driver and we'll store it free of charge until your return trip, so your child has a seat ready and installed when you land. In some cases, we've been able to coordinate car seat logistics in advance as well — for example, picking up a family's car seat from their home the evening before an airport return so it's already installed and ready when they arrive. Arrangements like these are handled on a case-by-case basis, so let us know your situation when booking and we'll do our best to accommodate.
