Arkwood Transportation Pricing
Flat Rates for Airports and Cruise Ports, Hourly Rates for Everything Else
Every rate on this page is a starting point, quoted before you book and fixed once confirmed — no surge pricing, no meter, and no recalculation at drop-off.
Flat Rate Destinations
Airport and cruise port transfers are quoted as one fixed price for the trip. Rates start at the figures below. Once your quote is confirmed it doesn't change — not for traffic, not on the day.
LAX
Burbank
Ontario
Cruise Port
Ontario is the one destination where the eastern San Gabriel Valley pays less — it sits east of us, so those pickups are closer to the airport rather than farther from it.
Hourly Rates
When a trip has multiple stops, waiting time in the middle, or an end time nobody can predict, hourly works better than a fixed destination rate. You book the driver's time rather than a route.
The rate is the same across every hourly service. What changes is the minimum booking.
Rates start at $75 an hour, the same across private driver, event and corporate bookings. Multiple stops, waiting time between them, and changes to the plan are all included in the hours you book.
Private driver
Appointments with waiting time, multi-stop errand days, and showing visitors around the city
Events
Concerts, birthdays, quinceañeras, graduations, and memorial services. No weekend surcharge
Corporate accounts
A shorter minimum for account clients, plus monthly invoicing and held recurring slots
Additional time is $40 per 30 minutes beyond your booking, with no penalty rate and no rounding up to a full hour. Your time starts at the scheduled pickup and ends at your final drop-off.
Fuel and mileage are included anywhere in the San Gabriel Valley and greater Los Angeles. There's no per-mile charge on top of the hourly rate, and no automatic gratuity is added to any booking.
Theme Parks and Long Distance
| Destination | San Gabriel / Pasadena | Extended San Gabriel Valley |
|---|---|---|
| Theme Parks | ||
| Universal Studios | $75 | $100 |
| Disneyland | $110 | $110 |
| Knott's Berry Farm | $110 | $110 |
| Magic Mountain | $150 | $180 |
| Long Distance | ||
| Lake Arrowhead | $325 | $300 |
| Big Bear | $325 | $300 |
| Palm Springs | $350 | $325 |
| Del Mar | $400 | $375 |
| San Diego | $425 | $400 |
All rates shown are one way, starting at the figures above. Round trips are available on request — tell us your return date and we'll quote both legs together.
Why the second column moves both directions: extended San Gabriel Valley pickups sit farther east, which puts them closer to the eastern destinations and farther from the western ones. That makes Big Bear and San Diego cheaper from there, and Universal and Magic Mountain dearer.

What Affects Your Rate
Every quote is based on the trip itself. Here's what goes into it, and what can't change it once you've booked.
What we ask about
These determine your quote
What never changes it
Once your rate is quoted, it's fixed
What's Included in Every Ride
The same standards apply whether you're booking a $75 run to Universal or a $425 trip to San Diego.
The price you were quoted
Confirmed before you book and fixed once agreed. Tolls, fuel, and airport fees are already in it
Door-to-door service
Picked up at your home, office, or hotel and delivered to the entrance — not a meeting point down the street
The same driver every time
Owner-operated, with over 9 years of professional driving across the San Gabriel Valley and Los Angeles
Flight and ship tracking
Airport and cruise port pickups adjust automatically to delays or early arrivals, at no extra charge
Seats up to 7 passengers
A Kia Carnival with sliding doors and a low step-in. The rate is for the vehicle, not per person
Luggage handled at both ends
Bags loaded and unloaded for you, with the fit confirmed before you book rather than on the day
English & Mandarin service
Booking, directions, and conversation handled comfortably in either language
No automatic gratuity
Tipping is appreciated but never required, and never added to your total without asking
Frequently Asked Questions
Are these prices per person or per vehicle?
Per vehicle. The rate is the same whether one person is riding or seven.
The vehicle seats up to seven passengers, so a group travels on one rate rather than paying per head or splitting across two cars.
What counts as the extended San Gabriel Valley?
San Gabriel and Pasadena and their immediate neighbors sit in the first zone. Cities farther out in the valley fall into the extended zone.
Rather than guessing, give us your pickup address when you request a quote and we'll tell you which rate applies. It's the first thing we check.
Do you charge extra for early morning or late night trips?
Trips and bookings that start between midnight and 6 AM are quoted higher, and so are major holidays. There's no weekend premium.
You'll have the number before you book and it's fixed from that point — no surge multiplier, and no recalculation on the day.
Is a tip included in these prices?
No, and none is added automatically. Many services attach 15 to 20 percent to your total without asking — we don't.
Tipping is appreciated but never required, and the number you're quoted is the number you pay.
Can I book a round trip?
Yes. Round trip rates are published for the airports and cruise ports above. For theme parks and long-distance destinations, the listed rates are one way and the return leg is quoted on request.
Booking both legs together is worth doing — your return pickup is confirmed in advance rather than arranged while you're travelling.
How does this compare to Uber or Lyft?
A rideshare quote is valid for the moment you request it. Ours is fixed when you book, whether that's tomorrow or six weeks out.
The difference shows up most on pre-dawn departures and pickups after a delayed flight. Our rate for those is set when you book; a rideshare fare for the same trip is whatever the app says that morning.
What if my destination isn't on this page?
Tell us where you're headed and you'll get one fixed number for the trip. The destinations listed here are simply the ones that come up most often.
For trips with multiple stops or an uncertain end time, hourly service starting at $75 per hour is often better value than a point-to-point rate — we'll tell you which way costs less.
How long is a quote good for?
Your rate is locked in once you confirm the booking, and it doesn't change afterward regardless of when you travel.
Before that, published rates are reviewed periodically. If you're planning well ahead, confirming the booking is what fixes the price.
Get Your Rate Before You Book
Send your pickup address, where you're headed, and roughly when. You'll get a fixed quote back — usually within minutes — and it doesn't change once confirmed.
